SBI Kol circle adds 351 customer care points

Kolkata: State Bank of India, Kolkata Circle, has extended its network by adding 351 new Customer Service Points (CSPs), including 51 CSPs in tea gardens throughout West Bengal and Sikkim this week. At present, SBI has 5,771 CSPs (82 % in rural azrea and 18% in semi urban, urban and metro areas), including 273 tea garden customers.
It has CSPs throughout West Bengal, Sikkim and Andaman & Nicobar Islands under a tie-up with 17 business correspondents having national and state presence. All 351 new CSPs were inaugurated virtually by Sanjeev Nautiyal, deputy MD (financial inclusion & micro market), in the presence of Ranjan Kumar Mishra, CGM, Kolkata circle.
Nautiyal said, “Financial inclusion would continue to be our thrust area and reiterated our aim to serve our rural population with more efficient manner and make them financially literate.” He appreciated all the business correspondents / customer service points for providing uninterrupted banking services to the customers during the recent lock down period.
